Do not evict Jesus from Christmas but put him at the heart of what we will be living during these twelve days.

God has come to be with us, no matter how dark our situation. And He who is the Light is stronger than the darkness.

Bishop Brendan sends Christmas wishes to the people of Limerick. 

The Feast of the Epiphany is celebrated on January 6th. This feast commemorates the visit of the wise men to worship the baby Jesus. Tradition tells us that their names were Caspar, Melchior and Balthassar.

Pope Francis has written an Apostolic Letter on the meaning and importance of the nativity scene. He signed the Letter during his visit on Sunday afternoon to the Italian town of Greccio.
