This was grandmother's, the figures are over 30 years old. When my nana passed away I was the lucky one to get the figures.

My husband made a crib for them as nana' s broke while they were doing up her house and she always had fairy light to light it up so we did the same. The crib takes pride of place in our sitting room every year. It's the most sentential piece I have.

My nana absolutely loved Christmas, it was a time for the whole family to get together. When our kids were younger, the first thing they would do Christmas morning was open their presents from Santa and then put baby Jesus into the crib and say Happy Birthday.

As I look at our crib, I feel lonesome after my nana, but I know she is here with us and the crib provides comfort that we always will have a little piece of her.
