Huge thanks to everyone for a wonderful gathering at our Holy Halloween Event last night in the Diocesan Centre
The jury is still out on the best costume. Contenders include Cain and Abel, The 10 Command-mints, Our Lady (obviously!) Áine’s Tombstone and the 2 bears from Noah’s ark. We’ll keep you posted!
On a Cluedo/Haunted House front a stewards enquiry has been initiated after allegations of evidence tampering have been brought against the Harry Potter Team. A spokesperson for the team has vehemently denied any wrongdoing saying that Jack Neville is just really really bad at directions. More on this soon.
Finally a huge shout out to our leaders for planning and running a great event. Special thanks to Chris for leading us in prayer. Our prayer focused on remembering those we have loved and lost and we were reminded of God’s promise to us that we will all be reunited in heaven. We each placed a candle representing our loved ones on the cross which is a symbol for us all of resurrection, hope and love.
Looking forward to seeing you all again soon!
