Catholic Schools Week 2020 will be celebrated from Sunday 26 January – Sunday 1 February on the theme ‘Catholic Schools: Living in Harmony with God’s Creation’.

In his Apostolic Letter of 30 September 2019, Aperuit illis Pope Francis established that the Third Sunday in Ordinary Time is to be the Sunday of the Word of God. 

The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity will take place from 18 – 25 January on the theme “They showed us unusual kindness” (Acts 28:2). 

Pope Francis is urging the human warmth and personalised approach of Christ, the Good Samaritan, in healthcare professionals, workers and volunteers. He makes the call in his message for the 28th World Day of the Sick.
