Church lights to remain on and bells to ring as Easter vigil brings hope and light to all in these dark times – Limerick Bishop Brendan Leahy

20 young people from across the Limerick Diocese have been working hard to put together this video so that we can still pray the Stations of the Cross together on Good Friday. Each station was taken by a different young person who sat with the station and then wrote a reflective piece in response. 

Bishop Brendan talks to Fr Noel Kirwan about the Celebration of our Lord’s Passion at 3pm today.  Whilst we enter into the liturgy in a sombre mood and in silence, we find in the darkness that there is so much more;  God’s goodness is revealed in the midst of all of this, in the love that is poured out to us.  Within Jesus’s pain and suffering there is so much goodness, there is a love that can transform us, hence the name ‘Good Friday’.
