32 RD SUNDAY YEAR C

11 TH NOVEMBER 2007

D: Good morning. In the month of November we remember those who have died. This morning we want to remember in a special way the family and friends of the deceased person as they journey through an important process we know as Grieving

B: Many of you listening this morning may be at a particular stage of this journey. In the past the traditional wearing of black for a period of time after the funeral acknowledged a persons need for the time and space to experience their grief. Nowadays the lines are more blurred but the stages of grief still exist. In your local bookshops, many excellent books have been published on death, dying and Grief.

It is natural to go through the following stages of Grief without any set time frame

D:

B: Our reflection this morning is called ‘Grief’

D: You’ve been listening to ‘Just a thought’ with David Bracken

B: And Brenda Cribbin. We can be contacted through the Limerick Diocesan Offices at Henry Street. You can also download your own copy of this reflection by clicking on www.limerickdiocese.org . Another interesting website we recommend this week is catholicireland.net , for interesting articles on many aspects of life, faith and religion.

D: We look forward to your company again next week, so in the mean time, take care

B&S: Byeee……
