Safeguarding Sunday

“Each child should be cherished and affirmed as a gift from God with an inherent right to dignity of life and bodily integrity which shall be respected, nurtured and protected by all.”

Every year the Diocese has one Sunday where we as a Diocese draw awareness to the on-going work of Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults in our Diocese.

On this Sat eve 29th and Sunday, 30th September, 2018; parishes will read a letter from Bishop Brendan Leahy and newsletters will be made available in all Churches for people to take home.
